You will be traveling to the Gree Enclave, in the Veragi Sector, in the Tingel Arm.

Your mission will to procure several hypergates.  These will be used to help provide an alternative to the rift between the galaxies (once modified), and also to help ease transit along several of NavKor 36′s key trade routes.

This is necessary because of the threat of the Borg at the current rift, plus to help increase the profit margins and cut travel times for NavKor 36.

Please be advised that the agreement for the procurement of the hypergates is tenuous.  If you are not able to procure them via conventional methods, you will be expected to use alternative ones.

Shara, Captain Scarlet – failure to procure the hypergates will result in the default clause of your debt contracts to be enforced.  Do not fail me.

Mission Notes – Ord Lithone

They are rebuilding their economy, and they are hopeful that NavKor will be instrumental in helping them do so.

Back in Business – OOC Post

OOC Post

I am pleased to say that the NavKor role playing group on Twitter is back in business.

RL schedules, group reorganization and other issues have been settled (hopefully – we all know how RL can pounce), so the SLs will be up and running again now.  In fact, we’ve teamed with the Liberty II RPG for the current SL.

So here is what you can look forward to:

1. More variety in storylines. Not just missions, but other storylines, as well.  Some occurring on Tynnara, some offworld.
2. Crossovers.  We have several SLs planned with different RPGs, such as the Liberty II RPG and the Epsilon RPG. We’ll also be RPing with different individuals who want to join in that aren’t officially part of an RPG.
3. Shifting the focus of the storylines. We want to focus on different characters in each SL, when possible.

That’s it in a nutshell.  More stories, more surprises.

Mission Notes – Devon Four

There has been a new outbreak of plague on Devon Four, and NavKor has been asked to assist.

Given your Orion physiology, you are the most logical one to send to assist, since you are both a doctor and presumably immune to the disease.  However, take precautions, and make sure decontamination procedures are closely followed before your return.

Choose whomever you feel would be helpful to assist you in this endeavor.  Make sure they understand the risks.

Quiet Lately (OOC Post)

Things have been quiet for our RPG lately. There are several reasons why:

1. Several players have RL issues going on – school, family, work, etc.  RL always comes first.
2. We’ve had some reorganization going on.  We’ve had a couple of groups split from ours (which is a good thing), and we’re waiting to hear if a third is also splitting off.  Why is this a good thing?  The NavKor group had grown so large (over 40 at one point).  Now there will be several groups with SLs that are easier to follow, since there won’t be 40+ accounts to follow.  (And 3 or 4 SLs within the group.)
3. We are working on splitting the actual NavKor group itself into 2 groups.  Again, this is to make it easier for followers to watch SLs.   It’s going to be a rather unofficial split, mainly for the purpose of splitting the RSS feed into 2 more manageable feeds and not necessarily one that anyone will notice otherwise.

So that’s the reasoning behind it.

Once everything is sorted out, we’ll post the new feeds and lists on here, along with the explanations.  :)

RP guidelines (OOC post)

We are always happy to RP with people from other groups (or even those not in a group at all).

We are also very happy to have new people join in.

But please follow a few guidelines if you want to RP with us:

1. PLEASE send a DM or an ooc @ reply before jumping in a storyline.  Some SLs are planned out.  Some are spontaneous.  You don’t know which is which, so please ask if you can join in first.
2. PLEASE check with other parties before starting an SL that will affect them.  Examples:  if you are going to have a medical emergency and you want Shara to assist you, or if you are in trouble and want Boss to come save you – please send a quick DM or @ reply first to make sure you aren’t either a) disrupting an SL already in progress or b) throwing the time schedule off for a future planned SL.  (These are just examples – not meant to single anyone out.)
3. PLEASE don’t attack a character without prior planning first – a simple DM or @ reply will do.  Nothing is more annoying than having someone jump out and say “I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!  RAWR!” with no advance warning.
4. PLEASE don’t make a character that is all-knowing, all-powerful, all-anything.  This is also quite annoying.
5. PLEASE ask if you have any questions.  Everyone was new at some point.  I made SO many mistakes when I first started to RP –  and broke many of the rules I just wrote – but I had a very nice group of people help me learn, so I try to do the same.

You shall be traveling to Shiva IV in order to retrieve one of our allies that had to make an emergency landing there due to a ship malfunction.  His ship went seriously off-course during this mishap.

Please be advised:

Shiva IV is a dangerous, primitive world in constant warfare.  You will need to take great care when working this mission.

I am sending a copy of this transmission to Boss, as well.  it is my hope that he will accompany you, and that he may know of additional people to come that will offer added protection.
