Mission Notes – B’Daal

First of all, I would like to give my thanks to all of you for participating in this mission.  If this mission is successful, you shall all be paid handsomely for it.

You will be traveling to the planet of B’Daal, in the Skirr’lor system.  You will be taking one of NavKor’s Maquis Raiders – one that has been modified by H’Ress and is heavily armed.  Both Warlocke and Phobetor are capable of piloting the ship.

B’Daal is a warp-capable world, but has only recently developed this technology.  Their tech is not nearly as advanced as our own.

Their world is rich in resources.  I have numerous clients that would pay a hefty sum if I could broker a trade agreement with the world government of B’Daal – with NavKor, of course, providing all of the transportation for the goods being traded.

I have been working for weeks to try and secure a deal, but have been unable to do so.  I am hoping that you will be successful where I have not been.

B’Daal has a culture that is heavily superstitious.  While their technology is on par with where Earth was in the late 21st century, their culture is much closer to the civilizations of ancient Earth.  One particular superstition involves identical twins.  They attach an almost mystical or divine significance to them – even more so than many Earth cultures because identical twins are exceedingly rare on B’Daal.

It is my hope that if Shara and Emerald request that they enter into a trade agreement with NavKor, the fact that they are twins (for all practical purposes) will sway the B’Daalian government to acquiesce.   It is also why I have requested that H’Ress modify Warlocke and Phobetor to appear to be twins, as well.

I expect that this mission will last  - taking travel time into consideration – several days.  It will require one day to arrive at B’Daal, one day to return, and the B’Daalian government has already arranged for you all to spend one night as their guests.  Depending on how things progress, you may stay more than one night.

Shara will be the spokesperson for the group and will be responsible for trying to broker the deal.

Emerald, I know that you lack the experience with missions of this nature; however, I ask that you show a united front with Shara for this mission and help as much as possible.

Rival, Warlocke and Phobetor – I ask that you help protect and support Shara, Emerald and Esmeralda – and each other.

Esmeralda – you will have a separate objective.  I shall give you the details in private before the mission.
