Captain’s Log:
It has taken nearly every bar of gold-pressed latinum I have, plus mortgaging my soul and first-born child, but I have a new ship.
It is a Nebula-class starship. And I am so proud to have it. I feel like it is another step in my journey.
I have named the ship Orion Defiance – because I have dared to defy what others may think of me or have planned for me and forged ahead.
I have added several new crew members:
And I am looking to add more crew members, as well.
This ship is much larger and faster than the Orion Star – so I will be able to take on more clients and turn a larger profit.
In addition, the Orion Defiance is equipped to transport large numbers of passengers, as well – another profitable source of income.
I have had Kor busy finding new crew members – so far he has done quite well.
I will be the captain of the Orion Defiance. Kor will be the captain of the Orion Star - a very well-deserved promotion.

Captain Navaar,
I feel your excitement, as well as the significant personal sacrifices you must have gone through to obtain your new ship. It must have felt very gratifying indeed the first time that you stepped onto the Bridge.
I am eagerly anticipating my arrival as a guest onto the Orion Defiance. I’m not exactly sure what new directions fate has in store for me in the future.
As Shara has probably shared with you, we have a history together as fellow crew members aboard the USS Liberty. I was Captain Ezekiel Storm’s First Officer/Science Officer. Shara joined our crew and became a very competent Medic as part of Liberty’s crew. Any crew should be proud having her onboard as a Medic (Doc) and I hope that you have provided her a pleasant new home. I’ve missed her greatly since seeing her last and am very excited about being reunited with her upon my arrival on the Defiance.
I recognize you as Captain of the Orion Defiance and that my rank and position were bestowed on me by the MIA Captain of the USS Liberty, Ezekiel Storm. I’m hoping that there might be a place for me on the Defiance and duties, possibly within my existing areas of expertise of Sciences and Technology, that I might be able to provide to you and your fine crew, all at your discretion of course.
P.S. I’m also one hell of a “scrapper” and have considerable experience in ummmm…. “procurement” (Looting) , and “redistribution of valuables” (Smuggling)!
